Can attachments be sent with Gmail messages?

Gmail does indeed allow users to send attachments with their messages, and there is a file size limit imposed on those attachments. If a file exceeds this limit, Gmail automatically suggests using Google Drive to share the larger file. The other options do not accurately represent Gmail’s capabilities. While there are restrictions regarding file size, saying that attachments are not allowed or that only images can be attached fails to acknowledge the full range of file types supported by Gmail. Similarly, while integrating Google Drive links is a helpful option for larger files, it does not mean attachments can only be sent this way, as direct attachment of files within the specified limit is fully permitted.
